The Inner Land Judgment

Jeremiah 50:21-22 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Jeremiah 50 in context

Scripture Focus

21Go up against the land of Merathaim, even against it, and against the inhabitants of Pekod: waste and utterly destroy after them, saith the LORD, and do according to all that I have commanded thee.
22A sound of battle is in the land, and of great destruction.
Jeremiah 50:21-22

Biblical Context

God commands judgment against a land and its inhabitants, to destroy as commanded. A sound of battle and great destruction signals the decree coming to pass.

Neville's Inner Vision

Reality is not out there; events are moves in your inner life. In Neville's language, Merathaim and Pekod become inner dispositions of doubt and attachment that your I AM can decree away. The command to go up against them is the decision to oppose limiting thoughts; the instruction to waste and utterly destroy corresponds to releasing every belief that you are less than the I AM you truly are. The 'sound of battle' is the inner clash that purges the old picture, not a catastrophe but a clearing. When you consent to be the ruler of your mind by identifying with the I AM, you witness the destruction of the old self-image and the birth of a freer, harmonious consciousness. Stand in the awareness that the I AM is the crown over your inner land, and obey its decree by aligning your thoughts, feelings, and actions with wholeness.

Practice This Now

Assume the inner decree: I AM the authority over my inner land; dissolve Merathaim and Pekod and clear away old judgments. Then feel the release as the mind settles into the awakened I AM.
