Array Against Babylon Within
Jeremiah 50:14-15 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Jeremiah 50 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verses urge readiness to confront Babylon and declare that its sins against the LORD warrant its downfall; the walls and foundations are to collapse as divine justice is carried out.
Neville's Inner Vision
Jeremiah’s oracle is not about a distant empire alone, but about a state of consciousness called Babylon. Babylon represents any habit, fear, or belief you have allowed to govern your inner kingdom. The bow, arrows, and the surrounding rally describe the autopilot thoughts and imaginations that cling to a sense of separation from the I AM. To “array yourselves” around Babylon is to encircle the old self with a new awareness: you are the I AM, the sovereign observer, creator of your inner weather. When the text speaks of vengeance, it is the natural law of consciousness restoring balance by dissolving the false foundations you have previously defended. The “walls” and “foundations” falling signify the collapse of limiting structures that once seemed secure. The command to shout becomes the affirmation of truth within you, not violence without. Your inner Babylon yields when you insist on the one reality—I AM—over all appearances of lack, danger, or separation. Align with that truth, and the external siege becomes a translation of inner harmony.
Practice This Now
Assume you are already free and that the old Babylon within is collapsing. Quietly declare, I AM the I AM; I stand in victory over all fear. Feel the walls fall and rest in the peace of your true realm.
