Inner Siege, The LORD Within

Jeremiah 5:10-13 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Jeremiah 5 in context

Scripture Focus

10Go ye up upon her walls, and destroy; but make not a full end: take away her battlements; for they are not the LORD's.
11For the house of Israel and the house of Judah have dealt very treacherously against me, saith the LORD.
12They have belied the LORD, and said, It is not he; neither shall evil come upon us; neither shall we see sword nor famine:
13And the prophets shall become wind, and the word is not in them: thus shall it be done unto them.
Jeremiah 5:10-13

Biblical Context

Jeremiah 5:10-13 shows outer walls as false security; the people betray the LORD and cling to appearances, while the true prophetic word goes missing.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within the consciousness, the walls you observe are shadows of fear, not stone. The LORD within is the I AM that animates all you perceive, and to remove the battlements is to release the belief that outer defenses protect you. When you insist that evil cannot touch you because the inner word is real, the siege dissolves. The prophets, once sounding for God, become wind when your inner listening is quieted by ego; yet the living word returns as you align with I AM and restore faithful hearing. Do not seek safety in outward fortifications; revise your state to claim the indwelling Presence as your security. Your revised awareness invites courage, direction, and a transformed sense of reality, so that apparent threats fade in the light of inner truth.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and repeat, 'I AM that I AM within me now; the Lord is my foundation.' Then visualize the walls dissolving and feel the inner word awaken to guide you.
