Resting in the I AM Presence
Jeremiah 46:27-28 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God reassures Jacob and Israel not to fear, promising rescue from distant exile and a return to rest. He is with them, will discipline others but protect and restore His covenant people to peace.
Neville's Inner Vision
Notice how the text keeps fear as a misalignment in consciousness and invites you to awaken. Jacob and Israel are not two people but two states of mind that wandered into captivity. The command 'fear not' is an invitation to turn inward and identify with the I AM that never left you. When God says 'I will save thee from afar off' translate as: your thoughts have drifted to distant lands of doubt, yet the saving power remains within your awareness, ready to gather every dispersed idea back into harmony. 'Jacob shall return' becomes the inner reunion of your being, rest and ease flooding your mind as you assume the truth of your unity with God. 'I am with thee' seals your chosen identity in God, a declaration that no outer event can unseat. The 'full end of the nations' is the old theater of fear dissolving by the reinvestment of your consciousness in the present I AM. There is discipline, but it is corrective, not punitive—a waking from misidentification to your true self, here and now.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit in silence and revise, 'I am the I AM with me; fear is not the truth of my state.' See Jacob returning to rest, and picture a calm light gathering every scattered thought, affirming I am already saved and present.
