Jeremiah 43 Inner Throne Realized
Jeremiah 43:10-12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Jeremiah 43 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage presents God declaring that Nebuchadrezzar will come as His servant to set up a throne on hidden stones, pass judgment on Egypt, burn its idols, and carry away captives.
Neville's Inner Vision
Think of the Lord not as external history but as your I AM, the awareness that perceives. In this scripture the outer king Nebuchadrezzar appears as a rising, disciplined state of mind—an instrument that you yourself call forth to set a throne on the stones you have long neglected, the hidden convictions you rarely name but live by. When he comes, the land Egypt represents your automatisms, false identifications, and habits that must be made to yield. Some perish to death, some to captivity, some to the sword, for the old you must yield to the new. The houses of the gods of Egypt are the idols you have entrusted with security; these are burned away, and you are carried away captives only to be set free in a new order. He goes forth in peace, not by conquest but by the natural order of your changed state. The outer event mirrors an inward alignment: your throne has found its place on hidden stones, and your life wears the garment of a shepherd, quiet and assured, because the inner king—your I AM—has taken seat.
Practice This Now
Assume the I AM now sits as sovereign inner king on the hidden stones of my conviction; feel the throne take its place and the outer life align with that inner rule, going forth in peace. Let the cleansing burn away old attachments and carry me forward into inner peace.
