Jeremiah 42:10 Inner Reversal

Jeremiah 42:10 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Jeremiah 42 in context

Scripture Focus

10If ye will still abide in this land, then will I build you, and not pull you down, and I will plant you, and not pluck you up: for I repent me of the evil that I have done unto you.
Jeremiah 42:10

Biblical Context

Staying in the present state of consciousness invites divine restoration: God will build and plant you, not pull you down, as mercy replaces past harm.

Neville's Inner Vision

To abide in this land is to dwell in the present state of consciousness. The I AM you truly are is the builder and planter; the outer circumstance merely mirrors your inner assumption. When you consent to remain, God says, I will build you and plant you, and I will not pull you down. The repentance mentioned is interior: a turning from fear and memory of harm toward trust in the I AM. Mercy flows from that turning, softening what seems to be against you. Providence guides you by aligning your feeling with the end you seek. The Divine reversal is not a raid from without but a correction within: you stop uprooting yourself by doubt and instead consent to be rooted in the assurance that you are cared for. You don't strain to receive; you imagine the end and feel it real now. In this inner act, covenant loyalty awakens: you remain, you feel, you accept that you are already planted and secure, and the outer story reconfigures to fit the inner truth.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: In the next few minutes, imagine you are already built and planted where you are; feel the relief and trust, and repeat 'I am built and planted by divine mercy'.
