Biblical Context

Nebuchadnezzar and his army besieged Jerusalem in the tenth month of the ninth year of Zedekiah.

Neville's Inner Vision

Jeremiah 39:1 shows an outer siege, yet every siege is an inner movement of consciousness. The ninth year and the tenth month mark stages where a belief of danger has taken root, and the city of Jerusalem stands as your inner citadel—the I AM awareness that never yields. The king and his army are not outsiders but thoughts and habits pressing on your stillness. When you identify with them, you permit a world of siege; when you remember you are the dreamer and the I AM, you may revise. Assume: I am the I AM; this inner city is secure; no outer threat can touch the light within. Feel it real by dwelling in that conviction until the pressure softens. The siege becomes a messenger inviting you back to the root of your consciousness, where all kingdoms are governed by your state. Exile and return blur into one motion of awareness, and promise returns as you inhabit the victorious sense that you stand sovereign over your inner Jerusalem.

Practice This Now

Assume the state: I am the I AM; this inner city is secure. Feel it real by dwelling in that conviction until the siege dissolves.
