Read Jeremiah 37 in context

Scripture Focus

6Then came the word of the LORD unto the prophet Jeremiah, saying,
7Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye say to the king of Judah, that sent you unto me to enquire of me; Behold, Pharaoh's army, which is come forth to help you, shall return to Egypt into their own land.
8And the Chaldeans shall come again, and fight against this city, and take it, and burn it with fire.
Jeremiah 37:6-8

Biblical Context

Jeremiah 37:6-8 speaks that the Lord warns Judah through Jeremiah: Pharaoh's army will return to Egypt, and the Chaldeans will come again to attack and burn the city.

Neville's Inner Vision

Long before the scrolls of history, this word is a revelation of inner state. The Pharaoh you trust for protection, money, power, and worldly plans, will withdraw, returning to its own land. The Chaldeans, the restless thoughts and judgments that haunt your mind, will circle again to test your faith. Yet the true meaning is interior. The I AM, your unwavering awareness, is the city that cannot be burned by transient forces. When fear looms, reinterpret the event as a call to revise your assumption about safety. Assume the end: you are already preserved by consciousness, not by armies. If you dwell in that end, the outer movements lose their sting, and the sense of security rises from within. Your inner state is the only permanent city; you do not fight external events—you awaken to the fact that you are the I AM expressing peace.

Practice This Now

In stillness, assume you are the I AM and the city is already preserved by consciousness; feel the end as present and let fear dissolve.
