Inner Call to Revelation
Jeremiah 33:1-3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Jeremiah 33 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jeremiah speaks from a prison-like circumstance. God invites him to call on the LORD to receive answers and reveal hidden truths.
Neville's Inner Vision
Jeremiah's imprisonment is your outer confinement; the word of the LORD is the inner invitation to turn from the appearance of limitation to the I AM that forms your life. When you say, call unto me, you are not appealing to a distant deity but affirming your own state of consciousness—the maker and establisher of your experience. The promise I will answer thee refers to a living guidance that rises within as insight, sudden knowledge, or a sense of right action. The great and mighty things, which thou knowest not are the unseen dynamics of consciousness—new possibilities, creative solutions, and hidden patterns your current attention cannot yet perceive. In Neville's terms, you shift from identification with the problem to identification with the solution-state by assuming the presence of the answer and feeling it as real. Practice by resting in the sensation of being spoken to by the I AM, and let your thoughts, feelings, and imaginal pictures align with the implied possibility. Insight will come as you hold the assumption, and your life will rearrange itself to fit the revelation.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit quietly, declare I call unto the I AM within me now, and feel the certainty of an answer; then imagine a clear scene where guidance is given and you act on it.
