Zedekiah in this verse is not a distant king; he is the current state of your consciousness clinging to the illusion that external power can save you. The Chaldeans are the outer pressures that appear when you forget that you are the I AM, the one who moves events by inner conviction. When it says 'mouth to mouth' and 'eyes to eyes,' it is inviting you to inner communion—to acknowledge that your awareness is speaking with its own image, and that the day you realize this, the outer battle loses its teeth. The Lord's remark that you shall not prosper in fighting them signals that prosperity is not a struggle but a settling into the truth of being. You are led to Babylon—the place where the old self is taken away and the new self is visited by divine insight. Until that visitation occurs, your actions carry the weight of old habits. But when the I AM visits, you know you are not separate from God; you understand that all the seeming exile is a purification that prepares you to return to the inner kingdom.
