Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God's all-seeing wisdom and justice are highlighted. It recounts deliverance from Egypt and the promise of a land flowing with milk and honey.
Neville's Inner Vision
All of this is not a distant event but a study of your inner state. God—the I AM within you—is the great counselor who moves with mighty work through every moment you attend to your life. Your eyes are open to all the ways of your inner being because you refuse to forget who you truly are. The signs and wonders are not outside you; they are the vivid impressions your imagination creates within your mind. Egypt’s deliverance is your release from enslaving beliefs, and Israel’s land—flowing with milk and honey—is the state you inhabit when you awaken to your creative power. The strong hand and stretched-out arm of God are your disciplined imagination, extended until fear yields to faith. Your name—the character you ascribe to yourself—becomes what you persist in imagining. The inner law here is plain: you are given according to your inner ways and the fruit of your doing. So revise any sense of separation and dwell in the felt reality of the promised land within. When you do, outward signs will follow as a natural expression of your inner state.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the feeling of the land already given. Rehearse a concrete scene where you receive the blessing as a present-tense reality, until it feels real in your body.
