Inner Seeds of Renewal
Jeremiah 31:27-28 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Jeremiah 31 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God declares a future act of sowing and renewal for Israel and Judah; the inner echo is that growth begins with a seed. He watches to build as He once watched to uproot and destroy, signaling renewal is present within.
Neville's Inner Vision
Behold, the 'days come' is the inner awakening that your I AM is about to sow a new seed within your mind. The 'seed of man' and the 'seed of beast' are the images you entertain—your conscious thought and the instinctive pictures that run beneath it. The old watchfulness that plucked up, broke down, and afflicted is the mechanism of yesterday’s self, the judgments that kept you looping in limitation. But the same watchover, your divine self, will now watch over you to build and to plant; a new garden is formed in your consciousness by the end you have imagined. Do not resist the process of contrast; it is the soil where the seed is prepared. In your imagination believe that the builder I AM is at work within you, transforming scenes, relationships, and health by planting the desired state as already real. Claim the end from the seed you plant: you are the Israel inside, already cultivated, already flourishing, and the present experience is the shadow of what you have consented to in consciousness.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes, revise a present limitation by affirming, 'I am planted now with the seed of my desired state.' Feel it real as the builder within tends the garden of your mind.
