Inner Covenant Leadership
Jeremiah 30:21-22 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Jeremiah 30 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage speaks of leaders arising from within, and God drawing near when you engage your heart to approach Him. It promises a close relationship: you will be His people and He will be your God.
Neville's Inner Vision
Know this: the nobles and the governor are not distant rulers but your inner faculties, awakened by a deliberate act of attention. When you engage your heart to approach the I AM, the inner governor proceeds from the midst of you, stepping into alignment with the divine Presence. In this awakening, 'God' becomes not a far-off decree but your own awareness drawing near to itself. The moment you allow a single trusted state of consciousness to claim the throne, you are no longer separate from the covenant; you are the covenant in expression. You say in effect, 'I am my people, and the Lord I serve is my God,' and the I AM responds by confirming that relation within your awareness. This is not external approval but inner alignment: the relationship is already established as you inhabit the feeling of nearness, of being led by your inner governor, who is formed from your heart's choice to love and trust. The practice of revision is to acknowledge this inner leader now, and to feel the divine company as your natural state.
Practice This Now
Sit quietly and assume your inner governor arises from your own heart, moving toward the I AM. Feel it as real and know you are already in covenant, with God present within you.
