Inner Salvation of the I Am

Jeremiah 3:23 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Jeremiah 3 in context

Scripture Focus

23Truly in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills, and from the multitude of mountains: truly in the LORD our God is the salvation of Israel.
Jeremiah 3:23

Biblical Context

Jeremiah says salvation comes from the LORD, not from external hills or mountains. It is an inner possession, the I AM within.

Neville's Inner Vision

Salvation cannot be sourced from the hills of opinion or from the multitude of mountains of outward hope. In Neville's terms, every hill is a state of fear or lack, every mountain a kind of external authority over your experience. The true 'Israel' is your awakened consciousness, which knows that God—your I AM awareness—is the one salvation. If you imagine being saved by armies, laws, or institutions, you are projecting a future rescue from a dream character called 'out there.' Turn within: the verse is a reminder that the Lord, your God, is the only mover of your life. When you identify with the I AM, you stop seeking deliverance and begin living as the very embodiment of it. The moment you assume that salvation is already present in your awareness, you shift the inner movement from lack to perception, from waiting to knowing. Your external world reorganizes to reflect this inward conviction, and what you sought from hills appears as the rich, quiet assurance of God already within you.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and repeat, 'In the LORD my God is the salvation of Israel,' as a present fact. Feel the I AM awareness within you now, and revise the belief that salvation comes from hills or mountains.
