Read Jeremiah 3 in context

Scripture Focus

21A voice was heard upon the high places, weeping and supplications of the children of Israel: for they have perverted their way, and they have forgotten the LORD their God.
22Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee; for thou art the LORD our God.
Jeremiah 3:21-22

Biblical Context

A lament over backsliding and forgetting God is followed by a promise: return, and healing will come. The text invites a turning back to the Lord.

Neville's Inner Vision

In the inner sanctuary of your consciousness, a voice rises from the high places, calling you to recall who you truly are. The backsliding you read about is not a distance in space but a drift away from the I AM—the awareness that you are God in expression. Perverted ways and forgetfulness are merely habit energies of attention that have forgotten their source. The invitation to return is an invitation to revise your inner state, to align once more with the one life that animates you. Healing then arises as a natural consequence of that alignment; it is not an external intervention but the restoration of your inner vibration to harmony with the divine. The 'we' that comes unto thee is the unity of your finite self with the LORD of your God—your own highest self became present within your consciousness. When you declare, 'I am in God, God is in me,' you heal every former deviation. The present moment is already the healed state, waiting as your true reality.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and revise the scene by declaring, 'I return to you, I AM,' and feel the healing moving through you as if it were already done.
