Inner Covenant, Outer Ark Ended

Jeremiah 3:16 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Jeremiah 3 in context

Scripture Focus

16And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the LORD, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the LORD: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more.
Jeremiah 3:16

Biblical Context

Jeremiah 3:16 speaks of a future where abundance grows and outward sacred objects lose their central role. The ark is not held in mind or visited.

Neville's Inner Vision

Long before the ark is a memory, the people are living in the awareness that God is not imprisoned in a box but within the I AM present as consciousness. The 'days' spoken of mark a shift from externals to internal loyalty. When you multiply and increase in your land of life, you transcend the need to name or fetch a shrine; you will not call the ark to mind because the temple is now the state of awareness you inhabit. The covenant is kept not by relics but by fidelity to the inner Presence. True worship is thus the steady recollection that God and you are one: the external symbol fades as the inner reality asserts itself. The outward ark is only a signpost pointing inward; as you dwell in the inner I AM, the ritual becomes a memory, not a requirement. The practical turn is to assume the posture of that presence, and you will find the outer forms fall away in your experience, while the covenant remains in force within.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the state of I AM filling every room; envision the ark dissolving into a living inner presence as you dwell in the awareness that God is everywhere.
