Returning to Zion Within
Jeremiah 3:12-18 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Jeremiah 3 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jeremiah invites Israel to return from backsliding, promising mercy rather than anger, and to own their transgressions. He foresees a restoration where people are gathered to Zion, guided by loving, heart-centered pastors.
Neville's Inner Vision
View the passage as a map of your inner life. 'Return' means turning your attention back to the I AM that you are. The LORD’s mercy declares you are not rejected, for you are the beloved consciousness. Acknowledging iniquity is owning the belief of separation from this I AM and dissolving it by choosing alignment. The imagery of marriage to you, of being gathered to Zion, and of pastors after the divine heart speaks of an inner realignment: your inner city becomes a sanctuary where truth nourishes you. The outward ark fades as a symbol, and the temple within rises as the living presence of awareness. Jerusalem as the throne of the LORD becomes your ruling center from which true influence extends. The tribes unite; the inner north aligns with the land of your inheritance inside. The kingdom is planted in you the moment you acknowledge, forgive, and rest in the I AM.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Assume you are already in Zion—feel the I AM as your merciful center and imagine being led by pastors of your heart.
