Beloved, the line 'The LORD hath raised us up prophets in Babylon' is not a historical headline but a revelation of your inner state. Babylon stands for the exile of your present circumstance; the 'prophets' are not strangers sent from afar but thoughts and impulses you have believed to be outside you. When you insist that you are guided by prophets in a distant land, you are affirming separation and time-bound trouble. The true prophecy arises when you turn your I AM toward the scene and realize you are the awareness that creates it. If you feel fear, or hope that relief comes from another, you are projecting a future that fits that belief. The consciousness that says 'I am the prophet here' dissolves the illusion of exile and confirms that return to the kingdom is a function of your inner life. In this light, exile becomes a classroom in which you learn to trust the guidance that already resides within you, not in voices outside. The return is now, as you align your imagination with the immutable fact: I am.
