Inner Temple Reframed: Jeremiah 26:6

Jeremiah 26:6 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Jeremiah 26 in context

Scripture Focus

6Then will I make this house like Shiloh, and will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth.
Jeremiah 26:6

Biblical Context

God will make this house like Shiloh and will turn this city into a curse for all the nations. It is a declaration of judgment and accountability tied to the people's faithfulness.

Neville's Inner Vision

Jeremiah’s image speaks to the inner man. The house stands for your temple of awareness, and Shiloh is the symbol of the settled rest of I AM within. When you awaken to the truth that you are the cause of your experience, the outer sanctuary and the city you live in answer to your inner state. If your sense of self is not aligned with life, the temple appears like a ruin and the city a curse; but this is only the dream of unrevised consciousness. You, as the I AM, can revise it now. See the inner temple as secure, as if Shiloh itself abides there, and declare that the city of your life is blessed, not cursed. The moment you assume this state in feeling, you begin to change the scene outwardly. Your imagination is the instrument by which you rewrite the script of exile and return, judgment and promise. The inner decision precedes the outer event; dwell in that decision, and the outer becomes a reflection of the inner.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and rest in the I AM. Assume the inner temple is Shiloh, and declare the city of your life blessed, not cursed, until that feeling is real.
