Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God promises to look on His people with benevolence, restore them to their land, and plant them; He will give them a heart to know Him, so they return to Him with their whole heart.
Neville's Inner Vision
In the inner translation, Jeremiah’s land is your mind, and God is the I AM that dwells there. When you read 'I will set mine eyes upon them for good,' hear it as the I AM turning toward your present thought with benevolent focus, never as judgment. The return to the land is your return to a state of conscious awareness, a realignment of attention to the truth that you are already in the kingdom of your own being. Your imagination is the builder who brings the promise into your experience; 'I will build them' and 'I will plant them' become acts of steady inner construction, cultivating a soil of assurance so nothing uproots your peace. 'I will give them a heart to know me' is the awakening to the I AM within, the realization that the divine self is already intimate with your every breath. They shall be my people, and I will be their God, for they shall return unto me with their whole heart—this is your conscious union with the One.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume you are already planted in your inner land, with the I AM looking on you for good. Feel the heart opening to know the LORD and rest in the assurance that you are His people and He is your God.
