Inner Reproach, I AM Reality
Jeremiah 23:40 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse speaks of an everlasting reproach and perpetual shame that shall not be forgotten. It reveals how outward judgment mirrors the inner states we harbor.
Neville's Inner Vision
Beloved, the prophet speaks to your inner life, not to some distant decree. An 'everlasting reproach' is the stubborn image you entertain when you identify with deficiency; the 'perpetual shame' is the memory you allow to brood in the mind. Yet you are not the history you cling to; you are the I AM, consciousness that witnesses all movements. When you feed the sense of unworthiness, you energize the very criticism you fear. To invert it, assume the opposite state: imagine forgiveness, wholeness, and unassailable worth as already yours. Take a moment to revise the scene: see yourself as already free, beloved, accepted by the All. Feel the feeling of that reality as if it already existed, and let it sink into the body. With every breath, let the old reproach recede like a cloud while the timeless I AM remains. Your outward world will follow the inward declaration, and what was thought eternal becomes a memory dissolved in light.
Practice This Now
Imaginative_act: Sit quietly, close your eyes, and declare 'I am the I AM; I forgive and release all judgments I have held against myself.' Then revise a scene where the reproach is replaced by calm, letting the feeling of wholeness flood you.
