What Hath the LORD Spoken Within
Jeremiah 23:35 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Jeremiah 23 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse prompts each person to ask what God has said, turning divine communication into a search for truth. It emphasizes accountability to the inner Word rather than external voices.
Neville's Inner Vision
Jeremiah's query, 'What hath the LORD answered? what hath the LORD spoken?' is not a demand for others’ words, but a map of your own inner weather. In Neville’s psychology, the spoken word of God is the state you inhabit—the I AM—that answers from within. The neighbor and brother are not people out there but the many inner positions you entertain: doubt, memory, desire, fear. When you inquire, you align your attention with a single, sure voice: the voice that says, 'I have spoken, I have answered, and you are now the living result of that word.' To hear it, you must assume the reality of that inner communication. If worry or contradiction arises, revise: 'The LORD has spoken; I stand in the knowledge of the answer.' With that mental move, the atmosphere shifts, opportunities and confirmations move into your field, revealing the truth you already embraced. This is presence—God within, not distant; your imagination becomes the channel through which truth speaks. So make this your daily practice: demand the inner answer, and dwell in the state of its being.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and, within your I AM, declare: 'The LORD has spoken; I am the living answer.' Then breathe in certainty and move forward from that state.
