Jeremiah's Inner Judgment
Jeremiah 23:10-12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Jeremiah 23 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The land is described as morally corrupted with adulterers and false leaders. Judgment follows from the inward state expressed in outward decay and profane worship.
Neville's Inner Vision
In Jeremiah 23:10-12, the outer landscape is a mirror of inner states. The adulterers, the swearing, the dried wilderness, and the corrupt priestly house reveal a consciousness that has forgotten the I AM. When I speak of God, I am naming the immutable awareness that creates; the land is simply your current state of mind, and the ways and forces are the habitual thoughts that drive you away from right order. The warning that their path shall be slippery in darkness is your awareness of fear-driven patterns, which vanish when you assume you are the perceiver who cannot be moved. The year of visitation is a moment when the inner law returns to correct misalignment. To live this is to know that judgment is not punishment but a purification of consciousness back into alignment with the I AM. You can awaken by turning your attention inward and declaring I am that which does not falter and I AM the order of all right action in me.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and imagine the temple of your mind at rest; declare the I AM's presence as the sole ruler. Revise by feeling: From this moment, my inner landscape is clean, my paths are straight, and true worship is realized within.
