Inner Crown, Inner Covenant

Jeremiah 22:4-5 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Jeremiah 22 in context

Scripture Focus

4For if ye do this thing indeed, then shall there enter in by the gates of this house kings sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, he, and his servants, and his people.
5But if ye will not hear these words, I swear by myself, saith the LORD, that this house shall become a desolation.
Jeremiah 22:4-5

Biblical Context

Jeremiah 22:4-5 presents a conditional promise: listening and acting on the words brings kingship into the inner temple. If you refuse, the house becomes a desolation.

Neville's Inner Vision

All things are states of consciousness; the gates of your house are the gateways of your attention. When you heed the inner invitation to truth and loyalty to the I AM, the kings of your inner faculties enter by those gates, take their throne, and ride forth in chariots of decisive action. The house is your mind's temple; hearing the words is aligning with the living law within you. Ignoring them invites desolation, a quiet collapse where vitality and order once reigned. The covenant is a present discipline: you consent with your own consciousness to dwell in the state you desire. If you will not hear, you dissolve the inner kingdom and the outer world reflects that neglect. To practice is simple: assume the state, feel it as already yours, and act from that assumption as the king who rules your realm. The outer life will follow the inner alignment; the gates open, and tradition of the throne becomes your immediate experience.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and feel yourself seated on the throne of your inner temple. Silently declare, I AM the king here; hear the inner Word and let the gates open to your authorized power.
