Inquire Within, End The War
Jeremiah 21:2-3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Jeremiah 21 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The people ask to inquire of the LORD for relief from Nebuchadrezzar's war, hoping the LORD will act in wondrous ways so the threat may depart. Jeremiah then instructs them on how to speak to Zedekiah, the inner ruler, outlining how to align with God and the inner kingdom.
Neville's Inner Vision
All the external war you think you face is but a sign of a settled state of consciousness. In Jeremiah you hear an invitation to inquire of the Lord within; you are not petitioning a distant God, you are recognizing that the I AM is right now the sole awareness you possess. When you say to yourself that Nebuchadrezzar is a war that is outward, you affirm that only your inner state creates it. The wondrous works are not miracles coming from outside; they are shifts in your own feeling and belief, the turning of attention back to the presence that never leaves you. The instruction to tell Zedekiah what to say becomes a directive to the inner ruler you identify as mind or self: declare that the Lord can go up from you by lifting the fear and the sense of separation. As you treat your mind as a temple, the sense of siege dissolves, and your inner kingdom stands peaceful. The outer events rearrange themselves to match your new consciousness, for God is I AM and imagination is the true mover of things.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and feel the I AM as your own presence. Declare to the inner ruler that you inquire within and that the war ends as you rest in the I AM, then hold that feeling until it saturates your body.
