Biblical Context
God commands the house of David to begin the day by judging justly and freeing the oppressed; failure to do so invites divine fury because of evil deeds.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within you, the 'house of David' is the awake king, the I AM that rules your inner nation. The command 'Execute judgment in the morning' invites you to begin with a decision—to refuse identification with oppression and to set a just standard for the day at the first light of awareness. The 'oppressed' in your mind is the image of limitation, the feeling of confinement, the part of you that has borne the load too long. Deliver him out of the hand of the oppressor by declaring, in imagination, that you are the ruler of your inner climate, and that the humiliating thoughts are removed and replaced with clarity, steadfastness, and rightful action. If you lag, the 'fury' of hidden anger and fear may burn unchecked; but when you assume the state of justice and let your creative I AM act, that fiery energy transforms into steady resolve and liberation. Your world answers as you align with this inner decree; the house of your being becomes a sanctuary where the oppressed within can flourish, when you feel it real and live as the power that writes your days.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: This morning, sit quietly, and assume the feeling of the I AM as the judge of your inner kingdom. Say, 'I AM justice in action; I deliver the oppressed within; oppression dissolves as I feel it real' and let that feeling settle.
