Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jeremiah 20:11 presents God as with the speaker in a mighty, protective presence, so enemies stumble rather than prevail. The passage invites you to see outward threats dissolving when you rest in the inner awareness of the I AM.
Neville's Inner Vision
Jeremiah 20:11 speaks of the Lord being with me as a mighty terrible one, but the withness is the I AM awareness within. The mighty terrible one is not a foe outside me but the inexhaustible power of consciousness that cannot be moved by fear. When I claim and feel that I am the Lord's presence, my persecutors stumble because they operate in the illusion of separation; their points of attack lose footing in the light of truth. They shall not prevail, for their power rests on beliefs that I am less than the One; as I rest in this inner unity, that belief dissolves. Their everlasting confusion, projected outward, is remembered only as the memory of a night that yields to dawn. Protection comes not from battle but from awareness that I am the one God within. Providence and guidance flow as I dwell in that presence, and prosperity follows as a natural expression of aligning mind with its source. This is salvation and redemption here and now, and the inner kingdom stands, invincible, while the world dances to the surface upon the quiet assurance of I AM.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit quietly, close your eyes, and declare, I AM with me now. Feel the presence as a vivid, protective force and imagine any threat stumbling and fading as you hold the awareness.
