Right Wealth, Right Way

Jeremiah 17:11 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Jeremiah 17 in context

Scripture Focus

11As the partridge sitteth on eggs, and hatcheth them not; so he that getteth riches, and not by right, shall leave them in the midst of his days, and at his end shall be a fool.
Jeremiah 17:11

Biblical Context

Jeremiah 17:11 warns that riches gained by unjust means vanish, leaving the seeker in days, and at last end as a fool; true wealth rests on right action and inner integrity.

Neville's Inner Vision

In this teaching, the partridge perched on eggs represents a mind that promises wealth without the birth of right conduct. Wealth earned apart from truth fades, and the end is folly. The remedy is to return to a living inner state where right action is natural. When you align the I AM with the principle of just undertakings, wealth arises as the natural fruit of inner coherence. You do not chase coins through force or deceit; you allow abundance to appear by living in truth, discernment, and love. If guilt or temptation whispers, revise the assumption to: the wealth I possess is rightly earned through lawful, honest living; the imagination then births provision. Dwelling in this state, the outer world reflects orderly abundance, and you are not left foolishly counting days, for you have embraced the inner law: wealth is the outward sign of inner righteousness.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the feeling that you already possess wealth rightly earned by right means; declare inwardly, I am wealth rightly earned, and let your daily actions reflect that truth.
