Inner Eyes of the I AM
Jeremiah 16:17-18 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Jeremiah 16 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God's eyes see all your ways; nothing hides from the I AM. The verse warns that inner impurity defiles the inner land and will be recompensed in time.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your life is the outer sign of your inner state. Jeremiah speaks to your I AM, not to a distant judge; the land is your inner ground. Idolatry is worship of external forms and defiling the mind with fear or craving. The double recompense is the inner law: persistent thought-feeling patterns return as doubled experiences. You are not bound by them. You can re-create your world by shifting your state of consciousness. Assume: I am the I AM; I dwell in a purified inner land; nothing hides from this consciousness, including past actions. In feeling-it-real, you release old idols and invite a new pattern of trust, gratitude, and holy attentiveness. Your power lies in imagination, not in external rites. As you hold this new state, your outer life will reflect the restored land—the abundance, clarity, and freedom that come from within.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and revise: I am the I AM, watching all my ways. I cleanse my inner land of idols and feel the renewal as real.
