Jeremiah 15:19 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Jeremiah 15 in context

Scripture Focus

19Therefore thus saith the LORD, If thou return, then will I bring thee again, and thou shalt stand before me: and if thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my mouth: let them return unto thee; but return not thou unto them.
Jeremiah 15:19

Biblical Context

The LORD promises restoration if you turn back. By separating the precious from the vile, you become His mouth, standing before Him and not being pulled into others' ways.

Neville's Inner Vision

To Jeremiah's listener and to you, the inner reader, the 'return' is not external travel but a turning of consciousness from the crush of error to the I AM. When you decide to return, God 'brings you again' into the presence of awareness, so you can stand 'before me' as a clear, unwavering actually-present mind. 'Take forth the precious from the vile' is a call to inner discernment: separate the eternal worth from transient appearances; refine thoughts until only the true gold remains in your inner treasury. When you are thus aligned, you become 'my mouth'—your words, in feeling and act, express the divine intention rather than ego, and your influence carries the force of the sovereign I AM. Let them return unto thee; but return not thou unto them means resist clinging to old friendships or doubts that seek to drag you back into fear. The promise is unconditional in your inner state: restore, stand, speak truth, and your world rearranges itself to reflect your new consciousness.

Practice This Now

Assume the state of inner restoration now: 'I am returned to God within, standing before the I AM.' See yourself discerning the precious from the vile in every thought and speaking as the divine mouth.
