Read Jeremiah 15 in context

Scripture Focus

11The LORD said, Verily it shall be well with thy remnant; verily I will cause the enemy to entreat thee well in the time of evil and in the time of affliction.
Jeremiah 15:11

Biblical Context

The verse promises security and favorable treatment for the faithful remnant in times of adversity. It speaks of divine providence that turns enemy intent toward gentleness when inner trust is established.

Neville's Inner Vision

To Jeremiah's words I answer that the 'LORD' is the I AM within you—your ever-present awareness. The 'remnant' is the seed of consciousness that remains when outward scenes crumble. 'It shall be well' is not a forecast of a future weather but a present condition you realize by shifting your inner state. When you imagine as if your inner remnant already enjoys well-being, you invite Providence to align outer events with that truth and cause the adversarial image to bow to your assumption. The 'enemy' is the lingering residues of fear, doubt, and resistance within; God turns them toward you by transforming your thoughts and feelings into kindness toward yourself and others. In this light, affliction serves as a signal to refine certainty, not as a verdict on your worth. The remnant learns to abide in quiet confidence, and the world without follows the movement of the world within. You are the author of your circumstances by the state you assume.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the feeling, 'It is well with me now.' Stay with that remnant-state until it floods every corner of your awareness.
