To hear Jeremiah’s words as a judgment is to miss the key Neville teaches: your lot is the natural product of your inner state. 'This is thy lot' is not a displeasure from on high, but the visible effect of the state you have assumed within. You have forgotten me—the living I AM within you—and you have trusted in falsehood, the shifting shadows of circumstance and opinion. In your inner workshop, you measured yourself by fear, desire, or scarcity, and so you set a quota for your days. The 'portion of thy measures from me' is the law of assumption: you are the one who assigns the weight and volume to every situation. When you dwell in a memory of separation or in belief that the world controls you, you displace the eternal reality with a counterfeit image. Yet the door remains open. Return your allegiance to the I AM, and imagine from that central awareness. Your imagination is the instrument through which a new lot can be drawn, not by coercion but by the simple act of assuming the end and feeling it real.
