Biblical Context
Jeremiah 11:16-17 speaks of Israel as a green olive tree toppled by tumult and broken branches, due to forsaking true worship. It points to accountability and the hollowing of rites when not drawn from inner fidelity.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your inner being is the planted olive tree, green and full of fruit potential. The tumult and the fire are inner movements—states that rise when you forget you are the I AM. When you seek favor through outward rites or align with counterfeit worship, you prune yourself from the Source and invite a sense of judgment as punishment. Yet the judgment is the natural consequence of an inner misalignment; the Lord of hosts planted thee—your true allegiance is to the I AM, not to Baal of ritual. The remedy is to revise the scene by assuming the covenant state: you are the living tree in God, already bearing fruit, already safe, already loved. Imagination becomes worship; see and feel the tree flourishing in your mind, hear the rustle of leaves, taste the fruit in your awareness. Practice the felt sense that you are the I AM, and that all events are inner movements within you. In that awakening, the tumult quiets, the branches regrow, and life manifests as you imagined.
Practice This Now
Assume the truth you are the I AM planted by God. Revise any current circumstance by feeling 'I am the olive tree bearing fruit' and dwell in that feeling until it radiates outward.
