When you feel betrayed by appearances, remember the word came first as a conviction, not a fact of the outer world. The 'presence of God' is the steady awareness that you are that word made flesh, that truthfulness remains constant even when circumstances tremble. Practically, you cultivate this by assuming the state of the messenger: you speak the imagined message into your life, feel it real, and notice the situation bending toward it as you hold the consciousness. In time, your life will echo the promised word, proving the inner truth of God within.
