Inner Kingdom Realignment

Isaiah 7:17-20 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 7 in context

Scripture Focus

17The LORD shall bring upon thee, and upon thy people, and upon thy father's house, days that have not come, from the day that Ephraim departed from Judah; even the king of Assyria.
18And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall hiss for the fly that is in the uttermost part of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria.
19And they shall come, and shall rest all of them in the desolate valleys, and in the holes of the rocks, and upon all thorns, and upon all bushes.
20In the same day shall the Lord shave with a razor that is hired, namely, by them beyond the river, by the king of Assyria, the head, and the hair of the feet: and it shall also consume the beard.
Isaiah 7:17-20

Biblical Context

The verses speak of days of upheaval brought by a distant power, and describe forces moving through desolate places as a symbolic purging of the inner landscape.

Neville's Inner Vision

Beloved, the outer king is only a symbol of your inward state. The force of Assyria represents habit and fear that you have mistaken for reality, the split Ephraim from Judah indicating a mind torn between who you are and who you think you must be. The days that have not come point to new possibilities your I AM can birth when you stop feeding the old fear. The hiss for the fly and the bee signals your inner alarm, inviting you to observe every stray thought and allow it to pass rather than occupy your attention. The desolate valleys and holes of rocks become the cleared spaces inside when you no longer identify with those thoughts as truth. The razor of the hired one beyond the river is the discipline of awareness cutting through pride, old identities, and judgments until the beard of ego is shaved away. When you rest in the I AM as sovereign over all parts of your being, the sense of separation dissolves and life rearranges itself from within as reality aligns with your true state.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, breathe into I AM, and assume: I reign over every part of my mind. Then visualize the old images of division being shaved away, leaving a single, clear throne within.
