Inner Worship Awakens

Isaiah 66:3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 66 in context

Scripture Focus

3He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.
Isaiah 66:3

Biblical Context

Outward sacrifices without inner truth are condemned. True worship comes from the heart's alignment with the divine I AM.

Neville's Inner Vision

To the outer ear the text seems to condemn offerings; to the I AM within, it reveals a simple truth: God is an inner state, not a series of rites. When you 'kill an ox' or 'offer a lamb' as if the act itself earns favor, you are imagining power outside yourself. The law here is that outward sacrifices cannot change your inner disposition, and your soul revels in those very actions that separate you from living presence. Therefore true worship is not a ritual but the steady alignment of your mind with divine purpose. Your obedience and faithfulness become inner convictions, a quiet conviction that you already are the I AM expressing truth through every choice. If you are tempted to perform rites, revise your assumption to this: I am already the God of my world, and my life flows from the state I inhabit. In that inner space, you become the Offering itself, and your days reflect unity rather than separation.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and center in the I AM as the ruler of your life. When you catch yourself leaning to outward rites, revise by affirming: I am already the I AM, and my worship is the alignment of my inner state with divine purpose.
