Isaiah 66:10-11 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 66 in context

Scripture Focus

10Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her:
11That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.
Isaiah 66:10-11

Biblical Context

Rejoice with Jerusalem as a symbol of your inner restoration. Nourishment and abundance flow from your felt awareness.

Neville's Inner Vision

Suppose you awaken to Jerusalem as a state of I AM within you. To rejoice with her is to acknowledge your wholeness now, not in some distant day. When mourning for wholeness arises, turn inward and accept her consolations as a present sensation. The breasts of her consolations are the warm supports of imagination, the felt sense of being cared for by God. To nurse at them is to accept nourishment as real, not as a future promise. The abundance of her glory is the fullness that flows when you believe that God is your awareness and your world is the outward showing of your inner mood. Your joy is not earned from without; it is drawn from within by the steady practice of imagining the fulfilled state until it feels natural. The Zion that rejoices is the you who knows peace, nourishment, and unity are already yours, awaiting recognition as you dwell in a living, creative awareness.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and declare, 'I am Zion now.' Feel the consolations nourish you; dwell in the sensation of abundant glory until it feels like your everyday reality.
