New Heavens, New Earth Within

Isaiah 65:17 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 65 in context

Scripture Focus

17For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
Isaiah 65:17

Biblical Context

The verse proclaims a fresh creation: new heavens and a new earth, where the old conditions are not remembered or dwelt upon.

Neville's Inner Vision

Isaiah’s claim is not about geography but about consciousness. The 'new heavens and a new earth' are the lasting states of awareness you enter through a constant, decisive assumption. God here is the I AM within you, the witnessing awareness that creates by consent. When you accept a fresh inner decree, the former memories lose their grip because you no longer inhabit them. Imagination is the workshop where reality is formed; by dwelling in the feeling of the wish fulfilled, you align your life with a renewal that surpasses old conditions. The mind becomes a garden of order, and experience follows the order you insist upon as true. The verse invites you to retire the memory of limitation and to live from the end—a state of harmony, renewal, and creative power. Practice turns belief into being: revise, feel it real, and persist in the new consciousness, and your surroundings will reflect the new heavens and earth that reside in your awareness.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Assume you are already living in the new heavens and new earth in your present moment. Revise a memory of the old self and feel the new state as real now.
