Isaiah 65:1-2

Biblical Context

God declares He is sought by those who asked not for Him and found by those who did not seek Him. He extends His hands daily to a rebellious people, inviting them to turn from their own path.

Neville's Inner Vision

Isaiah 65:1-2 reveals that the I AM of your being seeks itself in places you consider distant or unlikely. The “nation not called by my name” is the unawakened portion of your consciousness, and the “rebellious people” are the habitual thoughts that wander after their own cravings. God’s outstretched hands are not a distant gesture; they are the persistent presence of awareness within you, ever inviting you to cease resisting and to awaken to what you truly are. In Neville’s fashion, the events of the verse are inner movements: invitation, discovery, and return to unity. When you accept that the invitation is directed to you, you rewrite the sense of separation. The moment you affirm, “Behold me,” you are acknowledging your own I AM as the perceiver and the essence of all that appears. Imagination creates this reality; by assuming the end—the awareness that you are already found—you align your life with the truth that you are the one who sought and is found.

Practice This Now

Assume you are already found; quietly say, 'Behold me' to your inner mind. Rest in the awareness that is always present and revise the feeling of separation into unity.
