New Name of Righteousness Unveiled

Isaiah 62:2 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 62 in context

Scripture Focus

2And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.
Isaiah 62:2

Biblical Context

The verse proclaims that nations will see your righteousness and kings your glory; you will be named with a new name spoken by the Lord.

Neville's Inner Vision

See Isaiah 62:2 as a doorway into your own consciousness. The Gentiles and kings are not strangers; they are inner governors—aspects of you that witness your state. When you dwell in the I AM, you stop seeking righteousness outside and begin recognizing it as your present alignment with divine law. The righteousness you are seen with is the unwavering inner order you maintain, and the glory you manifest is the light that radiates from that state. The 'new name' is spoken by the mouth of the Lord within you; it names your true self as already created. So revise your sense of self until this inner naming feels true now, until outer events reflect your inward decree. You are not waiting for change; you are waking to the name the Lord already has in mind for you, and letting that consciousness transform your world.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume you are already called by the new name; feel the I AM naming you now, and repeat softly, 'I am the name the Lord names,' until the feeling is real.
