Gates, Highways, and the Inner Standard

Isaiah 62:10 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 62 in context

Scripture Focus

10Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.
Isaiah 62:10

Biblical Context

Isaiah 62:10 urges you to clear obstacles and prepare a path. It invites you to raise a clear standard for the people, reflecting an inner preparation becoming outward reality.

Neville's Inner Vision

I read Isaiah 62:10 as an invitation to set your inner landscape in order. The gates are the beliefs and habits you accept in ignorance; go through them, and you step into a more spacious sense of self. The highway you cast up is the vibrational road you ride when you entertain a definite frame of mind. Cast up the stones—those nagging memories, doubts, and resentments—so they no longer block your movement. Lift up a standard for the people by declaring, I AM, here and now, the authority and Presence that governs my life. This is not geography but psychology: exile is the roaming of an unfixed consciousness, return is the moment you identify with your true state. The Kingdom of God is a present condition of awareness, realized by feeling your wish fulfilled in the imagination, until it becomes your lived experience. When you dwell in that present state, the outer world rearranges to match the inner declaration.

Practice This Now

Imaginative_act: Close your eyes and walk through an inner gate, lifting a bright standard labeled I AM. Feel the certainty of your desired state as if it is already true in this moment.
