Your Isaiah 61:2 speaks of two movements in one: the acceptable year of the LORD—a season established in your own mind; and the day of vengeance of our God—a clearing away of the old beliefs that mourn. In Neville’s reading, God is the I AM within you, not a distant judge, but the awareness that turns pages simply by recognizing your already-whole nature. When you accept the year, you claim release from limitation; when you permit the day of vengeance, you release the thoughts that have held you captive to sorrow. Mourning is but a story your attention has believed; by assuming you are the healed you, by feeling the reality of that shift, you become the comfort you seek for yourself and others. Proclaim from the throne of your own awareness, here and now: I AM free; I AM forgiven; I AM alive in a new season. The two movements converge as you dwell in the inner certainty that creates the appearances of your outer world.
