Inner Kingdom Gathered Now
Isaiah 60:6-7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Isaiah 60 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Many nations will bring gold and incense to praise the LORD. Their offerings will be accepted at His altar, and He will glorify the house of His glory.
Neville's Inner Vision
Imagine the verse as a map of your inner kingdom waking to life. The multitude of camels and caravans represent the diverse thoughts, talents, and desires moving toward the altar within—the I AM you. They come bearing gold and incense: gold stands for priceless ideas and realizations; incense for living devotion and heartfelt feeling. These offerings are not commodities handed from without; they are the inner wealth your awareness recognizes and welcomes. When the text says they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, it is your invitation to revise your sense of self so that these manifestations are already real in this moment. Assume the praise and abundance are present now as you stand at your inner altar; feel the welcome warmth of the divine presence as you bless the altar with your attention. God, the I AM within, glorifies the house of your glory by confirming your inner temple as the source of power and peace. The outward pageant—the gathering, the praise—is simply the inner life becoming visible. The Kingdom of God is this ready, welcoming consciousness here and now.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit quietly, envision the caravan of your thoughts and desires approaching your inner altar; place gold and incense on the altar and silently declare, 'I AM, this is mine now.'
