Isaiah 60:5 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 60 in context

Scripture Focus

5Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.
Isaiah 60:5

Biblical Context

Things come into alignment and your heart enlarges with awe as the sea's abundance and the forces of the Gentiles come toward you.

Neville's Inner Vision

Isaiah 60:5 is a map of your inner state made visible. The words describe what happens when you assume a new consciousness. The sea’s abundance is the limitless supply within your I AM—an inner wealth that can be converted into outer life by your conviction. When you feel the wish fulfilled in your chest, your heart expands with reverent awe, proof that you have shifted your sense of self. 'Converted unto thee' means you no longer resist the flow of good; you claim wealth, support, and opportunity by assuming they are already yours. The 'forces of the Gentiles' are not outsiders but the energies and opportunities your inner conviction draws into your world. As you dwell in the feeling that you already possess all these things, events arrange themselves to reflect your inner state: doors open, collaborations form, and you find yourself flowing together with life. The transformation begins in imagination and is maintained by the steady memory of your true I AM, awake to abundance.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Assume the feeling 'I am wealth now' and dwell there. Revise any sense of lack until your heart feels enlarged and the sea of abundance flows toward you.
