Nations Respond to Your Light

Isaiah 60:3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 60 in context

Scripture Focus

3And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
Isaiah 60:3

Biblical Context

Isaiah 60:3 states that Gentiles and kings will be drawn to the light you radiate, signaling an inner awakening that shifts outward influence.

Neville's Inner Vision

Think of the Gentiles and the kings not as distant peoples, but as the different states of your own consciousness. The verse says they come to your light because you have decided to illuminate from within. The brightness of thy rising is the moment your I AM, your continuous awareness, chooses to shine in a new conviction. When you dwell in a state where you know that all persons and powers are already attracted to the light of your inner life, you set the conditions for them to show up in your world. The light you see outside is only the reflection of the light you insist exists inside. Do not seek to change people or history; change your assumption. If you imagine the end—the Gentiles drawn to your wisdom, kings standing in your presence—as already real, you awaken that reality in your experience. The "others" are your own inner tones answering your call. God is the I AM that is seeing and choosing. Imagination creates your social and political weather by the inner weather you cultivate today.

Practice This Now

Imaginative_act: Assume the end—"I AM the light that draws Gentiles and kings to me"—and hold that feeling-real for five minutes, today. Let the inner image stay until it feels true, then observe how your outer world confirms it.
