Inherit Your Inner Land
Isaiah 60:21 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Isaiah 60 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse speaks of a people made righteous who will inherit the land forever. It frames this as the work of God’s planting and His hands, for His glory.
Neville's Inner Vision
All that 'thy people shall be all righteous' is not a decree about others far away, but a revelation of your inner condition. Righteousness is not moral performance imposed from without; it is the settled awareness that you are the I AM, the living idea of God in action. The 'land' you inherit is the inner field of perception where your assumptions take root and grow into outward order. The 'branch of my planting' is the fresh idea conceived in God’s mind that you now align with and allow to flourish. When you dwell in the feeling that you are already the righteous heir, you are not conjuring virtue; you are acknowledging what you are. Your attention becomes the sun that makes the soil of imagination yield crops of harmony, security, and rightful order. The verse ends with the goal, that God may be glorified—meaning your life becomes a transparent expression of the divine I AM. So, exist as that awareness now; the land will come forth as the natural fruit of your inner condition.
Practice This Now
Practice: Assume you are already the righteous one, revise any sense of lack, and feel it real now. Visualize walking through your inner land, where every action flows from that state and the day itself confirms it.
