Read Isaiah 60 in context

Scripture Focus

19The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.
20Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.
Isaiah 60:19-20

Biblical Context

The verse declares that the Lord becomes an everlasting light, replacing the sun and moon, and that your days of mourning will end.

Neville's Inner Vision

Read this as a description of your inner state. The sun and moon are symbols of outward conditions; when you acknowledge the LORD as everlasting light, you acknowledge the I AM that you are right now, constant, radiant, and awake. God is thy glory, your essential awareness. In this inner season, mourning ends as the old atmosphere is dissolved by the brightness within. This is a new creation of consciousness: a state in which life reflects the inner sun rather than seeking light from without. Your future becomes the steady revival of this interior radiance; as you dwell in that light, circumstances rearrange to match its glow. Do not chase light in the world; rest as the one who knows himself as God, the one light that illumines every moment. The invitation is to see yourself and God as one, and to live from that truth here and now, so your heart anticipates a continued dawn rather than another night.

Practice This Now

Assume the state of the everlasting light now. Feel the I AM as a radiant presence within, and revise any memory of mourning into that light until it feels real.
