Inner Walls of Salvation
Isaiah 60:17-18 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Isaiah 60 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Isaiah 60:17-18 presents a shift from external power to inner harmony: what once produced violence and scarcity becomes peace and righteousness. The land’s walls become Salvation and its gates Praise, signaling that true security arises from consciousness, not circumstance.
Neville's Inner Vision
Beloved, listen to the keynote of your soul: you are not waiting for a change in the world so much as awakening to a new state of consciousness. When the verse says, For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, consider these metals as the old currency of fear and struggle you have accepted as real. By your imagination, you invert that economy—gold replaces brass, silver replaces iron—because you have decided that your being is governed by abundance and order. The officers of thy land are peace, and thine exactors righteousness; these are not external officials but the inner faculties you appoint at the border of your attention. When you choose to live from that state, violence shall no more be heard in thy land. Wasting and destruction vanish as you no longer invest attention in them. See thy walls Salvation and thy gates Praise, symbols that your entire city is governed by salvation and praise in the I AM you awaken to now. You are the kingdom; you are the ruler; you are the reality you reveal.
Practice This Now
Assume the state now: I AM Peace, I AM Salvation, I AM Righteousness governing my land. Sit quietly, feel that reality filling your being, and hold it for several breaths, revising any fear thoughts as if they never happened.
