Inner Zion Light Rising
Isaiah 60:1-22 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Arise and shine as God's light rises on you despite darkness; nations and rulers are drawn to your brightness, and restoration comes to your city.
Neville's Inner Vision
In this reading, the prophecy is a description of your inner state, not a distant event. Arise and shine means you awaken to the light of I AM, the conscious awareness that you are more than your thoughts or fears. Darkness is merely the old belief system you have accepted; when you insist that the LORD’s glory rests upon you, that glory becomes your visible atmosphere. The Gentiles and kings gathering around you are the people, circumstances, and opportunities that respond to your elevated state. The ships of Tarshish, gold and incense, gates that never close—these are symbols of abundance and open recognition that your consciousness grants. As you dwell in this new state, your heart expands, fear diminishes, and your life becomes a sanctuary of light. The verse promises that in the inner kingdom you are the source of restoration; the outer world mirrors your inner conviction. Therefore return to this assumption again and again until it feels permanent: I am the light; I am the city of the Lord; all things flow to me in peace.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume you already are the light. Feel the gates of your life open as people, resources, and opportunities flow toward you.
