Biblical Context
Isaiah 59:20 speaks of a Redeemer coming to Zion for those who turn away from transgression in Jacob. It invites inner transformation as a shift in consciousness, not a distant event.
Neville's Inner Vision
Picture the Redeemer as your I AM, the living awareness that walks at the door of Zion. Zion is not a distant city but a fixed state of consciousness in which you know you are one with God. Jacob is the dream-self that believes in separation, guilt, and lack. When you turn from transgression in Jacob, you do not argue with the old self; you simply shift your attention and invite the Redeemer to stand within your inner city. The promise that the Redeemer shall come to Zion becomes a present invitation: you are already saved when your awareness chooses to align with oneness. Imagination is your workshop; revision is your lamp. See the old script of sin dissolving, and feel the certainty that you are now the vessel through which the covenant operates. The coming of the Redeemer is the turning of your mind toward God until your inner weather changes and your outer life rearranges to reflect that inner conquest. This is the practical gospel: assume the truth, feel it real, and dwell there until your world proves what your inner state has declared.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume you are already in Zion; affirm, I AM one with God now. Feel the peace of that oneness wash the old guilt away, and let the imagined state become your next lived moment.
